2 - Improvisation For 9 Piece Ensemble An electro-acoustic ensemble with influences lurching between musique concrete, Spike Jones and Post/Rock. BLE bristles with complex structures, unsettling constructs of found sound, failed soloing and a relentless push-pull. The Black Lodge Ensemble was created in the wake of WDCD RADIO, a long running electro-acoustic radio program created by Michael D. Long and Dylan S. McConnell. The BLE performs live improvised electro-acoustic music with an ever changing cast of guests from its home base The Black Lodge in Philadelphia Pa.
